Acorn Records Label are offering a recording contracts for Unsigned Artists (both female and male artists or bands) in Pop, Rock, R&B, Dance and Gospel style (subject to Terms and Conditions.)
Terms and Condition.
1. Age: There is not any age limit.
2. All Unsigned Artists are welcome to appy, regardless of their musical experience, race, religion, and country.
3. All the artists are subject to selection process.
4. Recordig Contract is of temporary nature and it will last for a period of 4 years, with a view and option to sign a new recording contract for a longer period.
5. Acorn Records hold all the rights and can withdraw or change any part of Terms and Conditions at short notice without any prior notification.
If you are confident that you can record a better (vocal) version of any of 76 recorded songs and would like to be consider for a recording contract with Acorn Records, please forward your selection of any title of the songs only in the e-mail provided bellow.

RECORDING CONTRACT
THIS ASSIGNMENT is made the day of
BETWEEN
of
(hereinafter called "the Assignors") of the one part
and
ACORN MUSIC GROUP
of 1 Tylney View, London Road Hook, Hampshire, England. RG27 9LJ
(hereinafter called "the Publishers") of the other part
WITNESSETH as follows:
In consideration of the payment by the Publishers to the Assignors of the sum of one pound (£1.00) (receipt of which is hereby acknowledged) and of the royalties and fees provided for in clause 4 hereof and of other good and valuable considerations the Assignors hereby assign to the Publishers the whole of the copyright as defined by the Copyright Act 1988 and/or any subsequent United Kingdom amending legislation which may now or may at any time hereafter exist including the property title and interest vested and contingent and all other rights of a like nature as are now conferred by the laws in force in all other territories throughout the World ("the Territory") and such other right as may hereafter be conferred or created by law or international arrangemen5t or convention in any part of the Territory whether by way of new or additional rights not now comprised in copyright or by way of extension of the period of then or now existing rights for the protection of the copyright herein assigned including all lending rights of and in the titles words and music of the Compositions on Schedule 1 attached (hereinafter referred to as "the said Works")
TO HOLD the same unto the Publishers and their licensees absolutely for the term hereof (as hereinafter defined) and the Assignors hereby agree on demand to execute and sign any other documents and to do all other acts and things which may hereafter by required of the Assignors for vesting in the Publishers the promises expressed to be hereby assigned and the Assignors hereby warrant and declare that the writer and composer of the said Works was when the said Works were made a qualified person within the meaning of the Copyright Act 1988 and/or any subsequent United Kingdom amending legislation and that the said Works are the said writers and composers own unpublished work and does not infringe the copyright in any other Work and is not defamatory of any person firm or corporation and that the rights herein assigned have not previously been licensed or assigned and that the Assignors have good rights and full power to assign to the Publishers free from all encumbrances the promises expressed to be hereby assigned and all of them in the manner aforesaid and the Assignors hereby indemnify the Publishers from and against all costs claims demands proceedings and damages including the Publishers legal costs however arising in the true and lawful representative of the Assignors so far as such representation may be necessary for the purpose of defending and/or instituting claims to maintain or establish the copyright in the said Works.
The Term of this Assignment shall be for life of copyright from the above date and any renewals and extensions thereof in all territories of the Licensed Territory.
Further the rights herein assigned by the Assignors to the Publishers shall include (but without limitation to the generality of the foregoing):
(a) the right to use and license others to use the title of the said Works for all or any purpose
(b) the right to make alterations in and additions to the said Works at the discretion of the Publishers and to provide translations of the words or new lyrics in other languages or to add new music and to authorise others to do so SAVE THAT a major alteration to the said Works which would result in a reduction in the royalties payable to the Assignors hereunder shall be subject to the Assignors prior consent (not to be unreasonably withheld)
(c) the right to publish and print the said Works whether in the form of ordinary sheet music edition or as part of a folio or album or in any other printed form and the right to sell such printed copies
(d) the right to reproduce the said Works by means of mechanical reproduction by way of record or other sound bearing contrivance and/or visual image producing contrivance or device now known or hereafter to become known and to authorise others so to do
(e) the right to grant the licensing for the synchronisation of the said Works with any motion picture or any television film or production or any other visual image producing device now or hereafter to become known for perpetuity
(f) the right to collect any and all income that may arise hereunder whether prior to or during the Term irrespective of when paid
Subject as herein provided the Publishers shall credit to the Assignors royalty account the following royalties in respect of his Share of the said Works:
(g) Ten percent (10%) of the retail selling price upon each and every printed copy of all ordinary sheet editions sold and paid for to the Publishers in the United Kingdom Northern Ireland and Eire except that in the event that the said Works shall be used or caused to be used in whole or in part in conjunction with one or more other Works involving other licensors in a folio or album the Assignors shall be entitled to receive that proportion of ten percent (10%) of the Publishers receipts which the Works shall bear to the total number of Works contained in such folio or album. Also if the Publishers arrange an agency for the sale of this edition of the Works in any country outside the United Kingdom Northern Ireland and Eire the royalty to the Assignors in respect of sales in such country shall be Fifty(50%) of the Publishers receipts.
(h) Fifty Percent (50%) of any and all sums received by the Publishers from mechanical rights electrical transcriptions reproducing rights, motion picture synchronisation and television rights and all other rights (except public performing rights)
(i) Fifty Percent (50%) of any and all net sums actually received by the Publishers for the use thereof in song lyric folio magazines or other special editions sold by Licensees of the Publishers in the United Kingdom Northern Ireland and Eire
(j) Fifty Percent (50%) of any and all net sums actually received by the Publishers in connection with the exploitation of the said Works from any source not otherwise specified herein
(k) Fees in respect of public performance royalties shall be collected by the Performing Right Society Limited or its affiliated societies and divided by the said society as follows:
50% to the Publishers
50% to the Assignors
(l) Where applicable, all royalties and fees due to the Assignors shall be equally divided between each of them.
For the avoidance of doubt, for the purposes of calculation royalties due to the Assignors hereunder the words "any and all net sums" shall mean the gross earnings and arising at source received by the Publishers directly in the United Kingdom and Eire and all net sums received by the Publishers outside the United Kingdom and Eire allowing for the following deductions only:
(m) Value Added Tax or any other similar tax and any other sales tax required to be deducted in any part of the world
(n) Collection fees deducted by performing rights societies and mechanical rights societies or other official collection agencies established for the purposes relating to the exploitation of the said Works
The Publishers are members of the Performing Right Society Limited and the Assignors hereby agree that this Assignment shall be regarded as the certificate for the purposes of paragraph (ii) of the Society's rule 1(o) authorising the Performing Right Society Limited to treat the Publishers as exploiting the said Works (other than by publishing) for the benefit of the persons interested therein.
If the Assignors are members of the Performing Right Society Limited the rights hereby assigned are assigned subject to the rights of the said society but include the reversionary interest of the Assignors in such rights expectant upon the determination by any means of the rights of the Society as aforesaid subject to the payment to the Assignors by the Publishers of the Assignors share of all fees received by the Publishers after such determination in respect of the rights in the performing right in the said Works formerly owned by the Society such share to be the same as the share payable to the Assignors by the said Society prior to such determination in respect of such rights in the said Works.
Royalties shall be computed by the Publishers at half-yearly intervals and statements made up to 30th June and 31st December in each year and shall be sent to the Assignors within ninety (90) days thereafter accompanied by a remittance for the amount shown to be due by each said statement.
The Assignors acknowledge that the Publishers shall at any time be entitled to cede transfer assign or otherwise deal with its rights under this Assignment.
This Assignment shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England.
12. The Assignors shall if they wish appoint their own independent accountant to check any figures if they wish at their own cost.
